Story of young love and fate. A young gypsy girl meets a young laird with a daughter and a secret. Maybe not so secret as ballads had been sung about William and his daughter’s mother. Both father’s had been great friends and wanted to have their daughter and son wed at the right time. Must read to get the whole story. You will definitely enjoy. I gave this book a 4 star rate as it is written well. Great story line and the author continues to draw you in.Product details

I have enjoyed each of her very well written novels due to the pictures she paints and the stories she tells.
Wonderful read. Loved Tasmin and Wills story. I love all kinds of historical romance. I can't wait to read other story's by Susan King.
Susan King ROCKS!! Thank you for a wonderful story. Again, you have hit the mark and told a story that draws in the reader audience.
I enjoyed the lead characters and the storyline very much. It was a nice romance with believable hero and heroine. Will read more from this author.
Two stories combined...a charming travelogue of a beautiful and historically and literarily significant Scotland, and a "sleeping beauty" romance to gladden the heart of a wishful 13-year old...an uneasy mix at times, when the reader wants to hurry to the HEA...well written, informative and pleasant, but strains its own boundaries...I am glad it was free...
This is the first Susan King book that I have read. She is awesome! Her story telling is so good that I could not put the book down, and got teary when it ended. This story, Heather Moon, was wonderful with it's intrigue, adventure and romance. It is definitely worth reading. It didn't matter that it was the third book in the series, it was a great stand alone story. As for myself, I just bought my second Susan King book and I can't wait to start reading. )
This was an interesting historical romance about the gypsies living in Scotland in the 1500s and the baby Queen Mary. The Hero William was a wise and tender hearted Scott who watched his father die at age of 13 and was raised in England. He returns to the borderlands where he saves and falls in love with Tamsin, half gypsy with a deformed hand. Together they save the baby Queen Mary!
