Received in perfect condition no hassle and its an excellent book by a great author
I expected (hoped) a mindless fun romp. What I got was a series I am sad has ended. Full of rich characters I really cared about and a very unusual magical scheme and politicking, I loved this book and the whole series.
A little slow but good story. Interesting take that i enjoyed. Will purchase the next book in the series when it comes out.
I enjoyed reading this entire series. I look forward to her writing additional books that will continue to follow these characters. I found myself looking forward each evening to reading these books to find out what would happen next. Always a sure sign that I like a book.
'Exile' was just as good as the first book ('Besieged') in the trilogy 'The Outcast Chronicals' ... again I could not put it down. The characters are great, the story-line is compelling, and I'm looking forward to reading the last book - 'Sanctuary'. Thank you Rowena Cory Daniells for a great series.Exile The Outcast Chronicles
Wow! I read the series in succession and I was breathless the entire ride. I could not put them down. I love the characters Sorne and Imoshen. Very well developed story and characters. My only criticism would be Ms Daniells has not written more books in The Outcast Chronicles!
I just finished book 3 of this series and it ended in such a cliffhanger that I wish I'd never have wasted the time and started the first one.
I loved all 3 of these books from this beginning book through book two and then when you get to the third book in the series, it ended in the worst cliffhanger and made me angry that I’d spent the time to read ANY of the books. Its as if the author just decided not to write a fourth book to wrap it all up. Was she sick of the characters? Was she tired of writing well developed in depth characters with intriguing story lines? What gives? If this author writes another book to finish this series, I will retract this…but for now, I will never read another one of her books!
Also, the publishing dates of this series being so close together is odd. Shown below are the publishing dates but the paperback dates are very close to the release dates

Why three books released in such a short period of time....and then NOTHING for two years? If this is due to the publisher-then shame on the publisher. If due to the author-then that shows no respect for your readers.
