Very happy. Delivered before expected
I enjoy reading books I thought the titles sound like they would be good books. Thank You for such books that I enjoy.
When I read this book, it had a strong beginning. BUT! Spoiler alert! I hated how the situation was the guy ignored the girl most of the time. How is this supposed to be a romance novel, without any rising action? I just felt rejected the whole time I was reading it. Sure, it had a typical ending. but, I didn't like one bit.
This is a pretty good book. It is well written and it is perfect since it is about teenagers. I love that she does a little teen angst, but no sleeping together. Very tame.
This is one of what I call my PMS reads. I read a lot every twenty eight days and this is one of my favorites (how many times have i reread it?) Yes, it's a simple chick-lit and predictable but the story line and pacing are well written. I would suggest especially Maine Squeeze to anyone wanting to spend a few hours just reading and relaxing.
so i have read most of her other books so i thought this would also be a good book, but man was i wrong.... evan was a horrible character, who i hated and couldnt believe clark would put them together. he broke up with her last year by just never writing her back to emails and texts etc. this year he comes back flirts with her and then she sees him with another girl who turns out to be his new girlfriend of the last month that came to visit him. he goes on to tell her he didnt come back to the island for her but later says he kinda did but not only for her, umm if you have a girlfriend why did you come back for another girl. he is flakey and only seemed to care about himself, and clark ends it with coll's parents coming back and her saying her and evan would end up breaking up again (umm why did you break up with your boyfriend in that case) and you never find out what happens after her parents get back or what happens to her and evan. it had no ending it seemed like they needed a few more chapters or something
